Entering logs

How can I enter many historical logs easily?

If you do not want to enter all your historical logs individually you can choose to enter them in bulk. You can group your entries e.g. by Pilot/Co-pilot and enter each group as 2 individual logs with all the flight hours of each group in one log. Or you can group your historical logs by year and enter yearly totals as individual logs. However, if you want to take full advantage of the search and filter log reports you will need to split up your accumulated logs into smaller groups based on the criteria you want to conduct searches in. We are also working on supporting imports of electronic logbook files which would enable to you import logs in bulk form e.g. a spreadsheet.

Do I need to enter each log in chronological order?

No. You can enter logs in any order you want. Logs will be listed in your logbook based on the flight date of the log, not based on when it was entered. The date you entered a log might be displayed for reviewer accounts though. Also note that for multiple logs with the same date the logs will be displayed in the order they were entered.

Public Profile

Can visitors see my logbook?

By default, your logbook is private and can only be viewed by you. You can however make your profile public. There are 2 options for making your profile public: Stats only; and Stats plus detailed logs. You can change the public status of your profile under account > privacy settings. That is also where you will find the link to your public profile.

Reviewer Accounts

What is a reviewer account / review access?

Once this has been implemented, you will be able to allow third party accounts review access to your logbook. Review access will give read-only access to your logbook only, including audit track changes and log entry dates. Review access will NOT have access to the 'Additional Comments' of your logs, nor to reminders or any other informaiton not directly related to your logs.
